NHL playoffs are the fucking best, and yes I still enjoy them even when my Flames absolutely suck and don't even make the cut, or even anywhere near the cut. Enjoying Philly this post season so I think their gonna be my pick, but I'll change it tomorrow. Or the next day. Not like anyone cares.
Been a nice few relaxing days home after the brutal European tour, but with that being said it's been my favorite one yet. I actually worked half SmackDown, half RAW and no one could give me a real answer as to why, but it was more fun than I would have realized. Got the best of both worlds. Sure, had to work Tensai on the RAW half as opposed to teaming with Regal on the blue side, but hey, cut our losses right?
Think the moral lately is I've been having more fun in the ring than ever and pulling out the new (or old, depending on who ya know ;)) submission has been apart of that. Wish I could still call it the 'Hart Lock' simply because, well, that's where it was defined, and I'd love to pay even more tribute to that heritage as possible, but I think those who need to know know, and those won't don't...are just stupid marks, right Zigggler? Zack?
A few days home relaxing with Nat and our children is just what the doctor ordered though. Even got to catch up with Harry's now twitter famous sister, Georgia last night. Tons of funs and laughs, just wish Harry could've been there but Brakkus is too busy dominating the Indy scene like only he (and those awful shirt choices he makes) can. I went to the gym today and laughed when some guy asked me if I was there to train for Tough Mudder? Tough Mudder, what the fuck is that? The guy laughed and handed me a brochure. It's some crazy obstacle course that tests skills, endurance, speed, god knows what else. Looks like hell, so I told the guy I'd take a look into it.
I will, but I'll only agree to it if Nat will do it. So I think we know the decision, plus it's on a Tuesday so everyone knows NXT is far more important. Just thought it was funny, the guy was obviously pining for someone of my physique to walk in. Probably got a ton of the cardio chickas to sign up. Looks great on his resume. Ha. I crack myself up.
Anyway, I'm typing this as the Extreme Rules pre show airs in my other tab. It's really a downgrade from the 'Mania pre show, no workhorse..just some cobra's and terrible angry faces ala Miz. I should watch though, got the Pay-Per View ordered up on the television already, although we've got NHL tonight soooo...might have to do some split screen. Let's see what I can get my gal to agree to. Haha.

But not for the NFL, I just mean as far as my partner's go. I was really psyched on getting to team with Justin too, and I feel awful about his injury. 6 weeks isn't that long though, buddy! We'll have the belts in 7!
But prior to all that, 'Mania week was fun, exhausting but fun. Favorite part, besides the 3 way Tag Match was definitely being able to do the Axxess signings with Nattie. Everyone was so excited to see her and I got to tag along for the ride, pretend I had the same amount of fans which...we know is just far from the truth. I'm serious, Nattie's so damn over. Another reason it baffles me she was left off 'Mania..but, nothing we can do about it now except count down the days until next years, which is now 366, I believe.
Correct me if I'm wrong and chances are I am wrong. But give me a break. Math was never my strong subject, hell school..in general, was never my strong suite.
Actually before, when I said Axxess was the best part of 'Mania week, or even the Tag Match being in front of 78,000 strong..I lied.
The trip Nattie, Mick and I took to the children's hospital was flooring and although I went in there with the idea, we'd put some smiles on their faces and leave, it was just so humbling and they appreciated us, and life just so much. I came out with a truly changed perspective on life and it was just the best way I could think to start 'Mania week.
But enough of the 'Mania fun..we're home with Giz and Charlotte now and finally relaxing. Played some UFC but got kicked off because, I can never control the television for more than hour. We're talking about the children taking over now, not my girlfriend. Some whipped parents we are, and it's after 10:30 at night, shouldn't the kids be in bed by now?

So the Flames are officially done for, well, have been for a few days but I think it's finally sunk in. I really, really wish they'd do something with the management over there, or hell, do anything with anyone. Make even a few moves to make the diehard fans you have just...stick around. I'm debating becoming a fan of like, the Lighting. I live right here! I could never though. I'm too true to my, albeit...terrible Calgary Flames.
Live SmackDown next week, what's the odds of a Tyson Kidd sighting. With Skip back around you never quite know.

Bout all I got today. Could go into Mania in so much detail but I'm sure everyone will do that and hell WWE.com stalked us all enough to write a damn book on the weekend, even if you just went on the website once in the entire span of the week. The Hall of Fame was amazing, so great for Tyson Kidd to meet Mike Tyson. Always great to see Adam, not to mention, it's fun when Lance Storm's in town. Definitely a few drinks had there.
It's been said all week backstage at our events but as usual everyone shone at 'Mania. Hater's are gonna hate...to all the "indy" wrestlers who posted about how shitty the show was or the card was booked, come on guys..you'd kill to be on there and we all know it. I know it's a bitter pill to swallow, but it should only make you want to work harder. I got so many calls saying how mad people were that we were 'left on the dark match', but the match was live on youtube and wwe.com and to me? That's not dark. So, I'll live. Don't you worry about me.

Don't think I've ever had more to talk about than today, hahaha.
What that's not usual for me! Give me a break, here.
Firstly I'll start with the WWE side of the coin, which well, isn't it customary to do so? I get a ton of tweets a day asking when I'll be on SmackDown or RAW or whatever it may be. A. When will I be on RAW? Never. I'm a SmackDown guy and unless you're Randy Orton you ain't booked on both shows so go ahead and keep waiting for nothing to come.
I'm on SmackDown every now and then but I'm not worried so why are they?
I firmly believe NXT is where the best storylines are right now and we're on the road to 'Mania! Not trying to toot my own horn but before my boy Trent got injured we were on tap to team and it was going to be straight awesome. Even had matching tights, I know ME in PANTS! It's like Stampede all over again. Sheesh.
But since that fell through 'cause of Trent's injury we have this feud with Henning coming about. At first I was bummed about Trent getting hurt and believe me I'm still bummed for my buddy and wish he wasn't injured but this thing with Joe has been amazing so far. He beat me in our first match and last week I got the one up in our segment (by the way watch it..I was shirtless).
Then this week was probably my favorite moment in 2012 thus far, a great promo exchange (for me, I admit) and it turned into a brawl but the fans were there man, they were pumped. Oh and did I mention? My shirt comes off. ;)
Sorry Nat, this is how I have to get over. Love you :)

Anyway, the last thing I wanted to talk about (about myself) was Art of Wrestling this week. ..god I like talking about myself. Eh, it's my blog I do what I want!
But yeah, FINALLY got my spot on my boy Colt's podcast this week. We had a lot of fun, told a lot of Teddy Hart stories and Colt went into a small coma being around Gizmo and Charlotte so much. He's allergic to my kids, woops!
I heard I give too many orders when I write these things but come on, go listen to my interview..get me over!

I'm so excited for the Elimination Chamber Sunday and as I've said multiple times on twitter my pick for both chambers is Khali. Definitely the stand out athlete...haah.
I feel bad man, I had to drive Khali around a NJ/NY loop with Harry and Nat back in the Hart Dynasty days since he obviously can't drive or anything and the dude has to sit with the front seat all the way back and he can't fit into booths and things of that nature. He's a nice guy too, I just fucking wish he'd take his ball and get the fuck home. So many better people could be in that spot Sunday...at least Show's one of the most agile big men I've seen in the past 10 years. Santino took Randy's spot...heh. Whole 'nother story.
Got a lot of feedback about me and Nat's seg on last week's SmackDown. Mostly that my arms looked really jacked up in that cut off tank I was wearing..so thank you for that. ;) As for the segment itself, can't be picky, need to take what cards your dealt and make the best out of it. I'm still waiting for that card to be dealt to me but I'll hang on for as long as it takes. Continuing to hit my stride and having the match of the night each show is something I take pride in.
Speaking of match of the nights...check out me and Curt from this week's NXT. One of the first times we faced off in singles action and I know damn well I hope it's not my last.
Been getting a nice face pop recently. Funny what a cheesy smile and some hair can do to get you over. Always the hair..still tweets daily about my "stupid crown". Guess people really do only watch WWE once every year and a half because, that damn crowns been gone for basically a year now.
What else? Oh, if you haven't listened to Two and a Half Wrestler's podcast featuring Pat Buck, Kevin Matthews and J-Silva then why the fuck are we friends? Go listen to that. Like, NOW. Absolutely hysterical. And great guys that really should have gone further in WWE/ect. Oh and listened to MVP on Colt Cabana's podcast last week..another great one. His story is insane and a great guy..although Tupac is still the man.
Why does everyone find it so hard to believe I like rap? Love rap. C'mon Canada isn't like bizzaro world and I grew up with music like everyone else. Haha.
I should probably get up and help Nattie make something for dinner. I'm starving and Steak or Chicken sounds good to me. Probably steak..maybe some Salad, make Gizmo get me a drink. It'll be fun. Life is grand.

Sorry I need to outdo Nat at every turn in the road.
So what's new in the world of Tyson....er....Teej?
The Royal Rumble is coming up quick, definitely my favorite time of the year. I mean I love going to an arena and being told I'm going to be eliminated by Hornswoggle in 10 seconds. It's awesome!
But really, definitely a lot of energy going around recently backstage and that's always fun. I'm still putting Yoshi over and giving him credibility. Why? I'm not exactly sure. Maybe I should actually let HIM call of all of a match once...see how that goes. Then again I'm a heel and I need to be the better of the two. When was the last time a face could actually call a match on his own? I almost wanna say Bret! Sad!
Anyway where was I? Gizmo?
Oh no? Goddammit Nat stop that.
Gizmo made me clean all my gear today before making me clean the house all while my girlfriend slept.
Damn cats. They have this power I can't even explain. Anyway what else? Oh Cody Rhodes is still IC Champ? What's the deal there, the kids obviously gone above and beyond that level think it's time he lets someone 'better' hold that belt. Ahem any takers?
That Kidd dude's pretty swift on his feet. Why not throw it his way? That really needs to happen like...now. Maybe I'll go after Cody never know, I mean it's a new year, a new haircut...come on, anything can obviously happen!
God I'm ranting and I really need to get my lazy ass to the gym. Better update to come...like, soon. Just deal with this for now.

You know I waited to post until Boxing day right? It'd be way too un-Canadian of me if I posted on Christmas...although, Merry (belated) Christmas to everyone on here..Even though I'll see most of you at TV tomorrow or possibly tonight. I'm in the area ;)
Christmas was good over here, me and Nat spent it in Tampa with a few close friends and scattered family during the week. I would've liked to make the trek to Calgary but it just didn't seem to be in the cards. Maybe in the next few weeks.
I think Nat liked the shoes I picked out....erm, okay I didn't really pick them out, I had some help. But still! She hasn't taken them off and we've been traveling all day so I'll count that as a success. Travel on the day after Christmas is hell I'll say that but if one thing that's good is that everyone's so busy losing their luggage or not finding their way around they don't hassle me for a picture. Don't get me wrong, I love the fans but sometimes..especially days like today I don't really feel like having the conversation about why i shaved the crown off. I swear when I had it everyone hated it, when I got rid of it everyone was in an uproar. Can't please everyone I guess.
Then again my matches do that sooo??
Speaking of matches WWE.com ranked the top 25 and for some reason unbeknownst to me none of my matches with Trent made the cut yet my 'action figure on a pole' match against Yoshi made it. Then HE had the audacity to take credit for the match and thank the fans. Sorry Mike, but REALLY?! I carried that match and any match featuring Yoshi on my shoulders. Those tweets he posts...are serious. That's all that needs to be said. No English, no match...yet he has one in the top 25 of 2011. Guess we know where that award should be sent, huh?
Downloaded a bunch of new rap to blare in the car and piss off Nat, I think she hates the 50 Cent mixtape the most so that's getting the most play. Hahaha.
Not much else to talk about, pretty exhausted from travel today gonna kick back in the hotel for a bit and then probably hit the gym. Never stops.
Hope everyone had a good holiday and drank lots of egg nog, best part of this time of year for sure.

Inversion table. Must buy. Seriously, if you don't have one, get one. Best purchase ever and that includes my new brookstone recliner.
As you can see when I'm not off stealing the show and giving someone like Yoshi Tatsu or Lucky Cannon 5 star matches I enjoy resting my loins.
It's funny, when most people get off the road for a few days the last thing they wanna do is talk or think about wrestling, but I guess that's what defines me as a #workhorse because, wrestling is all I ever think about or watch. Spent a few off days last week watching a bunch of old Stampede stuff with Nat and a friend of ours. It was so fun and I even picked out a few moves I can put into my set now, without of course..breaking the WWE's rules. Ha.
Then I found an even older Stampede match on youtube, 1999. Which meant I was 19, yeah 19 and I look like a complete string bean and I'm rocking a set of terrible attire. But I still killed it. I messaged the guy and he's gonna upload a ton more so keep an eye out for them, here's me and my boy Ted. Man these days were so fun, I'm thankful me and Nat are still in this together but I miss Harry and Ted, and Jack ect. All my old buds.

But a lot of fun reminiscing about old times. Got to catch a few Flame's game's last week on TV and even played the new WWE '12 (their missing 2 abs by the way, dammit!).
It's back to the grind though, great shows this past weekend and Nat even decided to tell the public about my singing skills during road trips. Don't worry I've got a lot more ammo on her, she won't know what hit her. Just like last night.

Gotta say, I love my job, I don't even mind the travel like most of the crew. I'm weird, trust me I've been told.. Anyway, what was I saying? Oh, home. It's amazing. So nice in Tampa too. a lot better than the weather oversea's. Was just outside for a bit doing some yard work but I quit and told myself I deserved to relax so I've been sitting on my new recliner catching up on South Park for the better part of the hour.
This show just continues to get better and better, the Occupy Red Robin episode has me in stitches and the Broadway Blowjob thing? Where do they come up with this shit?
Overhead a joke at the airport earlier, what do you call a dog with no legs??

AHAHAH. Thought it was pretty funny humor for 6AM but hey, maybe it's just me..
Ever notice on flights home it's customary for crying babies to be on your final flight of a long two weeks tour? Put that kid in a Sharpshooter though and he shut right up, I thought about giving him a Fisherman Brainbuster but I wasn't sure if he'd sell it or just pull a Yoshi Tatsu on my ass.
Speaking of bad sellers and just bad people in general... Lucky Cannon? LOL. What a douche that guy is.
Hopefully I'll be in NYC for Sunday but probably not. Guess I won't know ;til the last second. Per usual. What else is going on? Nothing. Nothing at all.
Oh, it's Wednesday! Cheat day! Guess I've got some good ole' fast food to catch up on, haha.

But since this isn't Rockstar Addiction Anonymous I guess I'll talk about something else.
Hell, what DO I talk about? The usual stuff? Wrestling, PS3, Hockey, my abs?
This is harder than I thought. Guess I'll just use this thing to talk about my random life and my ever changing opinion on my hair cut. I just can't DECIDE. But I think I like the longer bit I go going now. Oversea's tour has been AWESOME, nothing like these crowds. But I'll get into all that once we're back in the US of A.
Thank god we go back tomorrow, I'm running low on my blue rockstar stash.
